How to stand out from the sea of averages
GPTs are FLOODING my X timeline right now.
But for all the wrong reasons:
Poor security
Generic prompts
Useless use cases
Why? People often find the path of least resistance.
Instructions and Knowledge will lead you to no where.
Want to stand out among the sea of averages?
There’s only one way.
Actions.
Ever heard of Zapier?
It’s a platform that allows you automate your work across 6,000+ apps.
That means you can create automated, intelligent, and connected personal assistants.
Think of Slack, Google Calendar, Notion, and more…
Here’s your advanced step-by-step guide that will land you among top 5% GPT creators…
Step 1: Basic GPT Configuration
If you haven’t checked out the first part, where I walked you through:

Check out the guide here.
Step 2: Import Zapier URL
Click on Actions.
You will see the following screen pops up.
Click on Import from URL in the top right of the left panel there.
Paste the following link:
Then hit Import.
…
And that’s it!
You just finished connecting your GPT with Zapier.
The screen should look like this at the end.
Moving on.
Step 3: Create Zapier Actions
Go to the following link:
You will not have as many actions as I am.
But that’s alright.
Click on Add a new action button to create new ones.
Since I’m creating a GPT Copywriter here, I will need access to my Google Docs.
In this page, you will need to:
Choose the connected apps
Connect with your accounts (Google accounts for me)
Choose the field that will be AI-generated
This is an important one:
Copy & Paste the link of that page to your clipboard.
It should look something like this:
You will need it later.
Click on Enable action.
Make sure that action is turned on.
Now back to GPT.
Step 4: Add Instructions
Copy & Paste the following snippet at the end of your instructions:
See how I’m leaving the REQUIRED_ACTIONS blank there?
That’s where step 3 comes in.
Paste the link that I told you to keep in your clipboard in there.
Step 5: Finishing Up
Remember, Google Doc isn’t the only app that is connected to Zapier.
Play around with your imagination.
